To coincide with Koh Samui’s tourism boom over the last ten years or so, the island has quickly grown into one of South East Asia’s leading destinations for health and wellbeing resorts and treatment centres. There are now more than 30 spas that can be found on Koh Samui and such are the wide range of different spas that are available, choosing one particular spa is not an easy task!
It is fair to say that in terms of spa treatments, atmosphere, location, facilities and budget, Koh Samui has something for everyone. On the island you will find every type of spa from luxurious and indulgent 5 star health resorts to independent, professional day spas, as well as residential facilities that specialise in such things as fasting, reflexology, detox and all round health improvement.
Generally speaking, the spas on Koh Samui are slightly cheaper than what you might be able to find in the West. However, as Samui’s reputation of a first class destination for health and wellbeing continues to grow, inevitably, so will the cost of indulging in some form of spa treatment on the island.
