koh-samui-spasIt is fair to say that in terms of spa treatments, atmosphere, location, facilities and budget, Koh Samui has something for everyone. On the island you will find every type of spa from luxurious and indulgent 5 star health resorts to independent, professional day spas, as well as residential facilities that specialise in such things as fasting, reflexology, detox and all round health improvement.

Generally speaking, the spas on Koh Samui are slightly cheaper than what you might be able to find in the West. However, as Samui’s reputation of a first class destination for health and wellbeing continues to grow, inevitably, so will the cost of indulging in some form of spa treatment on the island.

Koh Samui Spa Resorts

If budget is not that much of a concern then you will probably want to book yourself into one of the islands spa resorts where you will be able to devote the duration of your holiday to being well and truly pampered. When staying at a Koh Samui spa resort it is quite common for you to be able to purchase a package prior to your arrival that will include all of your treatments whilst you are staying at the resort. By paying for all your treatments in advance you really won’t have to give a moment’s thought to anything else during your stay, leaving you perfectly relaxed and ready to be pampered. No doubt the hardest part of your whole stay in a spa resort on the Samui will be when it comes to getting on the plane back home!

Alternatively, Koh Samui has a number of day spa centres that don’t offer accommodation but will be able to provide you with all the treatments and benefits that are on offer at a Samui spa resort. A day spa can be a good option for people who are on a budget as you will normally be able to book cheaper accommodation close to the day spa, which can you use for a couple of times during your stay on the island.
